About Al-Falah Without Walls

Al-Falah Without Walls (AwW) is a non-profit organization based in Quetta, Pakistan, working to empower marginalized communities through education, vocational training, youth leadership development, and interfaith harmony initiatives.

A Living Legacy of Fr. Otto Postma OFM for Community Transformation

Al-Falah Without Walls (AwW) is a faith-inspired, community-driven not-for-profit organization deeply rooted in the historic mission of Al-Falah Aqamat Gah, Samaji-o-Sakafati Markaz, established in 1971 in Quetta, Balochistan under the spiritual, educational, and humanitarian vision of the late Reverend Fr. Otto Postma OFM, a Dutch Priest and missionary from the Netherlands (Holland). Founded as a pioneering boys’ hostel for underprivileged and marginalized youth – particularly from Christian communities – the institution was envisioned not merely as a place of residence, but as a transformative center for education, character building, moral and spiritual formation, socio-cultural development, leadership nurturing, and community empowerment.

Guided by the enduring legacy and mission of late Reverend Fr. Otto Postma OFM, Al-Falah continued to evolve in response to the changing needs of marginalized communities. Under the leadership of Mr. Ilyas Inderyas, President and Founding Director along with his dedicated team, the organization was formally registered with the Balochistan Charities Registration and Regulation Authority (BCRA). Through this institutional transformation, the historic mission was not only preserved but further strengthened and expanded, while remaining firmly anchored in its founding values of faith, compassion, human dignity, education, inclusion, and holistic human development.

Today, Al-Falah Without Walls (AwW) continues to serve as a platform for nurturing socially responsible leadership, advancing education, promoting human dignity, and empowering marginalized communities through sustainable community development and humanitarian service.

Youth Education & Development Program (YEDP)

The Youth Education & Development Program (YEDP) is a flagship initiative of Al-Falah Without Walls (AwW) dedicated to empowering marginalized and underprivileged youth through education, mentorship, and holistic development. The program supports school drop-outs and vulnerable adolescents by mainstreaming their learning journey from middle, matric, intermediate to graduation and master’s levels.

YEDP provides reading and writing materials, tuition support, and academic guidance to prepare students for external government examinations, while also facilitating career-oriented pathways in Nursing, IT, BBA, MBA, B.Ed., and other professional fields. Through this comprehensive support, the program enables young people to secure meaningful employment and lead dignified, self-reliant lives.
